Search by total trip cost

Set a realistic departure window and compare two or three lengths of stay. Check the package total alongside a separate flight and hotel booking. Include luggage, seats, airport transfer, board basis and local charges. A low headline fare can lose its advantage once those items are added. Keep a written screenshot of the full quote and cancellation terms before payment.

Be flexible about the arrival airport

Search Ercan (ECN) and, where suitable for your passport and itinerary, Larnaca (LCA) or Paphos (PFO). Routes through Ercan and routes crossing from the Republic of Cyprus have different entry and transfer considerations. Read our Ercan flight planning page and Larnaca transfer guide before selecting a fare purely by price.

Choose an area that suits a short break

For a first trip, Kyrenia hotels can work well for harbour walks and nearby sights. Bafra resorts fit a more resort-centred stay. Compare exact location on a map; the words “Kyrenia” or “Famagusta” may describe a broad area rather than a walkable town address.

Check what “last minute” means

Some offers are simply unsold rooms; others require a flight leaving very soon. Confirm passport validity, any visa or crossing conditions, travel insurance, payment deadlines and whether the booking is refundable. Do not rely on an old article's price or a social-media advert as proof of current availability. Contact the hotel or package organiser directly and compare the final written offer.

When to wait and when to book

There is no reliable promise that prices will fall closer to departure. If your dates, room type or child arrangements are fixed, a flexible cancellation option may be more valuable than waiting. If you can change dates and airports, compare again after deciding your maximum all-in budget.
