Private transfers
Book against the flight number and give the operator a map pin. Confirm what happens if the flight is delayed and where to meet the driver. Use our Ercan transfer-booking options to continue directly to an operator.
Taxis
Agree the destination and total charge before starting the trip. Tell the driver about luggage, child seats or accessibility requirements before choosing a vehicle. Do not assume a price quoted for central Girne covers a villa farther along the coast.
Bus and shuttle services
KIBHAS lists Ercan services for Girne/Kyrenia. Consult the current KIBHAS timetable and stops for your date. A shared shuttle is not a hotel transfer, so price and arrange the final connection from its stop.
Car hire
If you want to explore the coast, collecting a car can combine arrival transport with later outings. Read the driving guide and rental checklist. Ask about after-hours collection, fuel policy and the handover location.
Central Kyrenia
For harbour or town accommodation, check the vehicle access and where you will be dropped off. Some addresses require a final walk. Compare the area with our Kyrenia destination guide before deciding whether to keep a rental car throughout the stay.
Bellapais and the hillside villages

Western Kyrenia
Alsancak and other western coastal bases are separate from central Kyrenia. Confirm your actual drop-off when comparing fares. The Kyrenia hotel collection labels each listed property’s location.
Late arrivals and the return journey
Check late check-in with your host, save the driver’s number and keep essential supplies accessible in your luggage. For the return, agree a pickup based on your airline’s airport reporting time, the route and a delay allowance. Reconfirm the address the day before.
Travel beyond the north
