Check what “beachfront” means
A hotel may overlook the sea, own a beach, use a nearby club or provide a shuttle. Ask for the walking route from your exact room or building to the water, and whether a road, steps or lift is involved. Confirm whether loungers, towels and water sports are included. Pick the right region
Kyrenia-area coastal hotels can suit harbour and mountain days; Bafra has larger resort properties; the İskele coast has a different spread of development. Use Kyrenia hotels and Bafra resorts to compare listed properties, then verify the exact location with a map pin. A broad region name does not guarantee a walkable beach.
Ask about the actual season
Sea conditions, lifeguards, beach services and resort restaurants can change across the year. For children or less confident swimmers, ask about shallow water and supervision but check the conditions again on the day. Some protected beaches have wildlife restrictions; follow signage and our turtle-visit advice.
Compare a like-for-like price
Check the same dates, board basis and room occupancy. Ask whether the beach facilities have a separate charge and whether cancellation terms differ between direct and third-party bookings.
